About Me

Dr. Linda Sauer Bredvik

I'm a fanatic for words and language who loves asking questions, skills I've used effectively across a diverse and unique career as an ethnographic sociolinguist, communications facilitator, editor and journalist.

Living abroad for over 20 years, in combination with a master's degree in International Relations, has given me both practical experience and a scholarly perspective of intercultural communication.

Interacting with people of different worldviews gives me a similar feeling to riding a horse across my native Wyoming prairie - as if I have the ability to see to the edge of the sky. A desire for this kind of boundless horizon is what continues to drive my work to understand how we can use language to foster a sense of inclusion and create spaces of belonging.
