About Me

Dr. Linda Sauer bredvik

I'm a fanatic for words and language who loves asking questions, skills I've used effectively across a diverse and unique career as an ethnographic sociolinguist, public speaker, editor and journalist.

Living abroad for over 20 years, in combination with a master's degree in International Relations, has given me both practical experience and a scholarly perspective of intercultural communication.

Interacting with people of different faith practices and worldviews gives me a similar feeling to riding a horse across my native Wyoming prairie - as if I have the ability to see to the edge of the sky. A desire for this kind of boundless horizons is what continues to drive my research to understand how we talk with people who orient around religion differently.
