Competent intercultural communication is crucial in an era of globalization in order to reduce misunderstanding, foster tolerance, improve relationships, and promote community and social cohesion. Effective intercultural communication also requires cultural agility and competence.

I am adept at analyzing language in use to identify how cultural diversity shapes and impacts communication and using that information to help organizations foster inclusive and effective intercultural communication practices.
